Antonio Ore Lapa was born on October 31, 1969, in Quinua, Ayacucho. At the age of 12, he discovered his artistic spirit and dedicated himself to ceramics, learning this work in the workshop of a friend.

In 1987 he started to work with ceramics in his own home, creating his own tools such as potter’s wheels and others.

Thus, after finishing secondary school, he began studying art. He studied for five years in the school of Fine Arts in Ayacucho. He finished his degree in 1996 and the next year he decided to move to the city of Lima to pursue his professional development. He dedicates himself to the production of practical and decorative pieces, and his primary strength is small hanging angels and arbolitos de la vida (trees of life) of various sizes. Presently he works full time in his workshop, forging its development along with his family.
